“ Security teams cannot be the department of‘ no’. If you say no to all the AI innovation that’ s happening, people will work around you. And that leads to a rise in what’ s called shadow AI.
“ Just like many years ago when we had have shadow IT where people were bypassing corporate governance, now there’ s shadow AI.“ If people want to innovate and experiment, they need security built into the tech that they are using. So for me, security and usability are not supposed to be at odds with each other. When you combine them together, then you actually get massive acceleration.”
