Grounding AI in business context While general AI adoption in the UK sits at roughly 65 %, according to Ashish, specialised AI adoption – reimagining business processes, reinventing operations, and establishing new revenue streams – drops to just 25 %, reflecting a mere 1 % growth over the past 12 months.
To bridge this gap, Mphasis focuses on grounding frontier models directly into an enterprise’ s proprietary context.
“ Data is sitting in a lot of different documents. The difficulty is bringing it all together and building a common consistency of taxonomy – this is what we call the knowledge graph, which essentially becomes an air traffic controller to drive the rest of the stack we want to implement to get the maximum benefit from a generative AI implementation,” Ashish says.
To operationalise this approach, Mphasis built its proprietary platform Tria, an enterprise agency platform launched to turn corporate intelligence into governed, outcomedriven actions. With this, the firm is pivoting toward“ service-as-a-software”, delivering its services directly with Tria.
Across the entire development lifecycle, Mphasis takes insights gathered by its relearning approach and uses automated agents to instantly generate business requirements.
“ The first layer of the stack focuses entirely on building the ontology,” Ashish explains.“ We ingest all machine-readable information within the organisation – documents, business requirements and standard operating procedures – so the system can learn your workflows, structure and decision-making processes.
The estimated timeframe for quantum technology to become practically available for business application is approximated in the next
couple of years
