Meta has named cybersecurity veteran Assaf Keren as Chief Information Security Officer. Assaf brings 25 years of security experience, previously serving as CISO at PayPal and Chief Security Officer at Qualtrics. He also co-founded startups CyberVision and SenseCy. Assaf has emphasised that protecting infrastructure integrity and user trust across global platforms serving billions is foundational. The move highlights Meta’ s focus on safeguarding enterprise data and expanding AI technologies.
